Business Development Manager

The National Energy Hub is looking to recruit a talented, go-getting Business Development Manager.

As a Business Development Manager you will be an experienced consultant in the field; responsible for building your own sales pipeline, self-generating sales and pipeline reporting and management. You will also have the ability to close your sales prospects with the support of a Key Account Manager. 

The purpose of this role is to sell The National Energy Hub’s market leading products and services to clients face to face, across a range of sectors and industries and be willing to travel a reasonable distance in order to achieve the Sales Targets. You must be able to provide previous achievements within a B2B sales environment, details of targets and previously achieved revenues.

Day-to-day activity:

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities
  • Attend networking events with the potential of generating new business
  • Build, manage and report on your detailed pipeline
  • Close sales prospects face to face, by phone and email
  • You will be determined, fast thinking and work at pace
  • Goal orientated, work well under pressure to achieve sales targets
  • Driven to succeed and deliver results
  • Ability to establish and build key relationships at all levels across our client base 
  • Be able to analyse competitor offers, particularly in the area of pricing and service-provision
  • Understand the client’s needs and offer solutions from our extensive range of products
  • The ability and experience in overcoming objections
  • Manage your own workload and diary
  • Manage your pipeline movement on the CRM 
  • Work collaboratively across the company to ensure the full delivery of the sale process to our clients
  • Attend Sales Presentations with sales prospects and company-wide meetings.

Energy Consultant (B2B Telesales Executive)

The National Energy Hub are looking to recruit talented business to business (B2B) Energy Consultants.

As an Energy Consultant you will be responsible for generating revenue and maximising sales opportunities, providing new business customers advice and energy quotations based on their individual requirements.

You will need to gather and capture key information to ensure you speak to customers at the right time whilst enhancing your rapport and negotiation skills for engaging prospective customers providing them with quotations for their energy contract renewals.

Day-to-day activity:

  • Identify new business prospects via outbound calling
  • Maximising sales opportunities and closing business
  • Maintaining accurate administration of your sales and sales pipeline via our company CRM
  • Delivering outstanding customer service in line with company commitments
  • Building strong rapport and negotiating energy contracts with prospective customers
  • Capturing accurate customer data and ensuring it is up to date at all times
  • Managing relationships and customer queries through our CRM
  • Obtaining letters of authority from the business prospect
  • Achieving monthly/quarterly sales revenue targets and KPI’s
  • Adhering to the sales compliance rules at all times

Realistic OTE after 3 years service: £40,000

37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday 8am to 4pm. (No weekends)

Early finish on Friday’s

Flexible working hours offered after 6 months service!

28 days incl public holidays which increases based on length of service.
